Default Adx vvc and svc

Anyone tried this yet?

"The ADX Vocal Volume Control 3.0 (VVC 3.0) plug-in is the first audio source separation plug-in for any DAW. In just a few clicks you will have vocal and panning control over the main melodic content within a mixed audio file, without the need for the individual stems."

Or the Dialogue SVC?
ADX Speech Volume Control 1.0.0
"Dialogue editors new dream tool! The new SVC plug-in automatically identifies and separates speech from background elements and quickly provides up to +/- 12dB of independent volume control over both elements."

Looks interesting from the demo video but IMHO of course the usual gotchas... it's web based so sends your audio out of the building!! Sorry, cannot do that on any project I work on. It straight away voids any NDA's and places the show's materials in other hands effectively. Hmm. Process within my computer please!... not on some distant server.

Also why such bad quality audio for a demo? Show us it on decent location sound.

Ray

Have to agree with Ray. Demos sound rather unusable to me. Definitely far from a "dream come true". And sending content away over the net in order to work is a no no.

RX6 has a thing called Dialogue Isolate which sounds fantastic for dx that contains a lot of non-broadband noise like gravel footsteps over walk and talk scenes. Doesn't sound like space monkeys like that SVC demo either.

I Feel the same as Ray, anything that uses offline processing is a no,no.

+1 for Izotope dialogue isolate Frank, its like audio voodoo!
I've used it to remove traffic pass-bys and a descending jet from dialogue and its amazing. Those varying pitch sounds were almost impossible to remove before this software.
It leaves a very clean and focused dialogue and no chirpy underwater sound.
The mic rustle remover in RX6 is also great.

I think this 'machine learning' approach to sound plugins is going to be a game changer.
You could potentially 'teach' the computer a certain person's voice and it could remove everything outside of those pararmeters. Like an inverted noise-learn function on traditional noise removal plugins.

Yep, the machine learning technique is quite revolutionary.
I upgraded to RX6 Advanced a few hours after it was out after trying a demo.
