At least that's what I did to solve this. Then I resized it afterwards.
Hope this'll work for you guys!

Unfortunately that doesn't work for me. The both open on the main monitor when I close and reopen the session. Thanks for trying to help though!

Since upgrading I can't get my mix window and edit window to save in the right positions. When I open a session I put them where I want, when I close the session and reopen it they both are on top of each other on the right monitor.

Is this a bug or??

Thanks!
Here's a workaround that might help:
I use Divvy to arrange windows (size and position) on the screen. The manual states that it can be used with multiple monitors - I haven't tried this.

A free trial is available at:

I had a similar issue when I first got my 2nd monitor.

In my case, I wanted Mix window on the right monitor screen but saving and quitting always resulted in both Mix and Edit windows stacked on left screen.

A fix recommended by someone here on the DUC did the trick: dragged the Mix window farther over into the right screen than I would like - so there is exposed screen space to the left of the Mix window. Saved and reopened, the Mix window was finally on the right screen. After doing that, I could adjust position of Mix window however I liked and PT would still remember it each time.

Hope it helps!

I fixed my problem by reversing the order of the plugs in the back of the computer. It seemed like one output wanted to be left and one wanted to default to right in the arrangement page. Once I changed everything works great.

Yes. Trick works for PT2020 remebering window positions on multiple screens. Just place the windows a bit "out of position" and the session reopens with same windows arrangment.
Once I save the session with windows full screen, all windows are back on main screen on re-open. Annoying and pitiful that this is not fixed.
