Default reason file saving

i got reason a few weeks ago and really like it. anyways, ive pretty much just been messing with it and learning how to use it. yesterday i saved my first song. however, i just saved it in pt and not reason. the next day when i brought it up, the midi tracks came up, but not the modules in reason i was using. i thought all i would need is one save and that would do it. so this time i saved a file in reason to save the config of my reason modules, and i also saved my midi files in pt. is there a way to do this all at once. also, if not, do you guys just make a special folder for your reason files? thanx for any help.....

You do need to save both the PT session and the Reason file, but it's an easy task. I save the Reason file as 'SongTitleREASON' initially, and put it in the PT session folder. Then when you open the PT session again, the Reason file is right there too.

I use the same name for the reason file as the session file, and store it in the session folder. The reason file extension keeps it seperate from the ProTools session file.
