I can't install Waves 8

I'm trying to demo some Waves plugins but having trouble with the installer. I tried the online installer but that left me with a tiny window saying "Gathering Information" for about an hour. So I tried the offline installer with the same "Gathering Information" message. I then left my Mac over night installing to see if that would help, but no!

I can't see any info on Waves site about running the installer and I can't get support from them as I don't own any of their plugins. What can I do?

You can call the sales department and they should be able to help you. Though it's the sales department, they still have a lot of technical knowledge and would have no problem helping you to demo their plugins, for the obvious reason that you might buy some.

Also, you need to request a demo license for your Ilok in order to demo these. I don't know if you've done that part yet.
