Antares Vocal Producer
Just wondering if anyone out there has used or heard about the new Antares Vocal Producer rack unit featuring Auto Tune 3, Mic Modeler, EQ, Compression, and Tube Simulation. For $499, it seems like a great investment. Plus, having an external unit with Auto Tune will save my CPU! Anyone.........
Also, are the improvements to Auto Tune v.3 significant? |

Re: Antares Vocal Producer
I have one, and I've gotten good results with it. I haven't used the midi scale creator, and I think that's the main thing thats different AutoTune-wise. I've yet to use anything but AutoTune on it so far, so I think if I were to do it over again, I'd probably just go with an ATR1a. The extra gain stage is a hassle, and the other processors are pretty harsh. Just my opinion. If you don't have a good comp, gate, eq, etc, it would be more useful to you.
