Default Importing .syx files into ProTools

Hi

I just got some Matrix-12 patches in .syx format, and I'm wondering how to load them in via ProTools. I'm able to save SysEx data from my synths to PT by hitting "record" and then "send patches to MIDI", and I'm able to re-load patches this way, but is there any way to load patches in by importing the .syx file and playing the track back to the M12? I can't seem to get PT to recognize the file as a MIDI file. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Joe
