Noisy outputs on Profire 2626
Hi everyone, recently I've been having some problems with the outputs on my Profire 2626. Whenever I plug my guitar amp into the outputs of the profire (for reamping purposes), I get a bit of noise coming out of the amp. I know this isn't my guitar, pedal board or amp because those are all dead quiet when I play normally. Additionally, the noise level coming out of the amp is the same whether or not my volume pedal is on or off. So basically, it looks like this:
Guitar -> amp = quiet Guitar -> Pedals -> Amp = quiet Profire output -> pedals -> amp = noise Profire output -> amp = same noise It's not a 60 hz hum, it's more in the upper register (I can't say exactly where). Is this a ground loop? All help is appreciated! Paul |

Re: Noisy outputs on Profire 2626
Hi Paul, you should use a reamp box, if you don´t have one, you can use a direct box routing the other way around. Also, you should set the output in unity.
good luck! |
