Default HEAT compatibility

Greetings,

I am new to Avid and Pro Tools (I have jumped in with PT HD 12.4.0) and have an Apogee Ensemble Thunderbolt 2 interface.

I am interested in getting HEAT. Are there any complications with compatibility here. do I need an Avid interface to use HEAT?

No, but with 3rd party hardware you do need HD 12.1 software or later in addition to the HEAT license

My apologies and Thanks JFreak for your answer,

I have made an error and had to edit my initial post from PT 10.4.0 to: PT 12.4.0.
So a HEAT licence would work out nicely.
