Is FW 800 ok with FW 400 devices?
Buying a new mac but i have an old 002 rack. Will it matter? |

No problem. If it were, one would be screwed getting a new MacPro.
I have my Focusrite LS56 (FW400) connected to a FW800-Port. Charming.

Perfectly fine. My interface is connected 400 to 800 and my HDD is connected 400 to 400.
