Mezzo users..READ THIS! if you upgrade to 5.1

Sorry for shouting out in the title, but this is very important for Mezzo users who will be upgrading to 5.1 and were pondering trying to do it on OS 8.6.

If you are a Mezzo user, you will have to upgrade your Mezzo software to version 3.8 so it will recognize the new file format for PT's 5.1, and for the Mezzo software to do this, it requires Mac OS 9.

Being a Mezzo user, I guess that officially closes the door on 8.6 for me.

Here is what it says on the Mezzo site:

"Mezzo 3.8 adds support for the new Pro Tools Session 5.1 file format. [Note that although Mezzo 3.8 is compatible with Macintosh operating systems as low as v.7.5.1, a computer running OS9 is required in order to support scanning and tracking of Pro Tools 5.1 Session files.]"
