Default HELP!! Cleared Recents[solved]

I have Pro Tools 12.8.2. I clicked -File- and -Open Recent- and clicked -Clear- by accident. Now I can't find a years worth of projects I had been working on. Can someone tell me where to find them? I found one or 2 that had the .ptx after them but the other ones don't have this. PLEASE TELL ME I DIDN'T DELETE ALL THAT WORK!!! PLEASE TELL ME I DON'T HAVE TO START OVER!!!

You didn't delete any files; all that 'clear recents' in PT does is to clear the listing of recently opened sessions in PT. To find your files use your Mac's search function called Spotlight and you should be able to find the sessions. Of course this depends on having the drive you saved those sessions to still connected to your computer. This last statement is assuming you have a separate drive for PT to record to.

You may want to try reading the PT manual to learn some of the basics as well as reading up on basic Mac operations

Also, if you do a "Save as..." on an empty session, PT will show you the most recent folder saved to. Mite give you a hint.

I am trying to use the Spotlight feature. All it brings up is my MP3s I have bounced out to hear the mix. I can't find the sessions with all the wave form audio tracks.
