Default Re: Import scene boundaries from MC

It's a virtual clip made of a whole bunch of others but on a single track. Like clip groups in PT but they essentially become one clip in MC. Often a scene shot with green screen plus the plate plus whatever else so it becomes just one "brick" on a single track (unlike clip-groups in PT) which is easier to handle when editing. The equivalent of a clip group in PT containing 10 tracks that you can place on a single track like in Reaper. PT seems to fail to read these entirely from the video track in the AAF.

Default Re: Import scene boundaries from MC

Maybe having the MC editor change one or more of the following MC export AAF settings would help.
1: Reversing their current Pro Tools 10/12 comparability: AAF Edit Protocol selection.
2: Checking the "Include All Video/Data tracks in the sequence"
3: Checking the "Include all Audio Tracks in Sequence"

Attached image shows the relevant part of the MC 2019.7 AAF export option dialog.
