Glide automation Bug?

Is there still a bug with glide automation? I recently upgraded to 10.3.9. Now when I make a selection and use the glide function, automation writes to the end of the project and not just to the selection!? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

My work around for now is to start by writing automation to all for the selection then hit the glide command. I don't remember glide giving me this kinda issue in the past.
