I checked out the price.... couldn't believe. Brought up bad memories of buying DigiTranslator for $500.00 ($652.00 CAN) I got got "PRICKLY HEAT" just thinking about it ! I dont think so

Wow! I remember buying Heat when it was at an all time low of $99.00. Heat sales had really been down around that time with all the new saturation plugins hitting the market. Looks like another move to bring in some more revenue. (See image below)

I literally just laughed out loud when I saw the new price.
Already had to laugh earlier today when I received the email from Avid with the reason for the 2019.6 release. Those guys are on fire right now.

New price? Heat has been $495 since the day it was released in 2010, give or take a few sales.

some people are getting their history confused. There were a few sales but outside of that, the price hasn't changed. The current price is definitely not "new"

I got heat years ago also and I think I paid about 150 usd (used)

I wouldn’t sell it... it’s subtle but it’s good. Dave hill from crane song supposedly helped code it
