12.7 Pros Cons?
After checking out the "What's New" release notes, I'm pretty underwhelmed with this one.
And there doesn't seem to be tons of threads on issues either new or resolved. I'm on 12.6.1, Yosemite, do lots of MIDI/composing and I don't have any major complaints so I'd tend to skip this one. Any thoughts?

The CPU spike issue is killing me here. I hope they fix that and fast!

Pro Tools does what it does well. Not sure why the MIDI guys arent getting the attention they deserve, but I think its pretty common knowledge that PT is not the first choice when it comes to it. Like you mention, Logic seems better rated in this category. I've also noticed that Reaper is focused more and more on MIDI items with their new releases. I would definitely be interested in what you think about its usefulness, if it's not too much. I know if you havent used it before, it can be a fairly steep learning curve.

12.7 is working surprisingly well for me. I use many VIs.
12.7 is not perfect, but for me it's the best since 12.0. At least one welcomed new keyboard shortcut but one other playlist related feature broken. Other than that, it's good. I'm on Windows 10.
