Default OS X \'tweaks"

Could anyone share any ideas on "tweaking" the system (either Pro Tools 6.x or OS X) for best performance. PT seems a bit sluggish in OS X compared to OS 9. I am using a G4 800mhz powermac and Digi 002. Thanks

Default Re: OS X \'tweaks"

- Get a more powerful video card and more RAM, or a dual CPU Mac with tons of RAM.

- Use thousands of colors instead of millions, and turn down font anti-aliasing... but be aware, you won't be blown away by the difference that these two tweaks make.
