Pro Tools 7 Plug-in and Software Compatibility
Pro Tools 7 Plug-in and Software Compatibility Information
Using incompatible software or RTAS plug-ins (such as virtual instruments) that are not optimized for Pro Tools 7 can cause lower than expected performance, system instability, or an inability to use Pro Tools 7 at all. It is important that all of your plug-ins and optional software are compatible with Pro Tools 7, and any version that has been optimized for Pro Tools 7 should always be used when available. Incompatible plug-ins or software should be removed entirely from your Plug-Ins folder before launching Pro Tools 7. If you are using Pro Tools HD 7, Pro Tools LE 7, or Pro Tools M-Powered 7, please check the following pages in the Pro Tools Plug-Ins section of the Digidesign website (linked from the Support section ), carefully noting which plug-ins have been optimized for Pro Tools 7 by each plug-in manufacturer:For more information about Pro Tools 7 HD, LE, and M-Powered compatibility, updates, upgrades, and operating system requirements, please see the following:
