Default session sharing between computers

i have one Mbox, an iMac, and a dell laptop with Windows XP. I have protools installed on both, but the laptop doesn't have a cd burner. is there anyway of getting a session from my laptop onto my imac, perhaps via firewire or something?

yes. I hope you are using a FW drive. If you are then it shouldn't be a problem.

Or you could send the session via ethernet using any variation of FTP protocol. If you're running OSX on your iMac, then it should be able to communicate with your laptop.

If both computers have ethernet connections you can use an aplication called MacSOHO, which allows shared files to be shared between the two networked computers. launch SOH, and you can access and mount the pc's shared drives on your mac desktop, and the Mac shared drives show up in the PC's network neighborhood.

We Burn CD's on the PC burner from files on the Mac all the time using this, and vice versa.

Hope this is helpful.
