You should be recording to a Mono track.

To hear my voice in my headphones while recording vocals I need to switch my headphone to one of the outs on the back of my MBOX PRO. I will not hear my voice in the headphones with them plugged into the normal phone jack in the front of the MBOX while recording the vocals. Any way to hear them with them plugged into the front jack on the MBOX while recording vocals?

Thanks.

Just do what belolab said. Center the panning of the channel you are recording to.

As I said above, it sounds like you are a recording a mono source (mic) to a stereo track. Make sure you are recording to a mono track.

Agree with this but this sounds like a monitoring issue

Pressing the mono button on the mbox should sort the headphone issue.... also yeh record to a mono track if its a mono source but im not sure that will alter the monitoring issue.

It is unlikely, but possible that the routing is incorrect. Open the mbox3 pro control & look at what is routed to the headphone output.

In Pro Tools>Track> toggle between Auto input monitoring and Input only monitoring.
