Default \"DAE Not Found\"

I have version 5.1.1 on a G4 Mac I have PT installed on MAC OS 9. I haven't used the 001 in a while but I brought it back out recently to do some solo stuff. When I open PT I get a message that says "DAE could not be found." Any Suggestions?

Thanks!

Uninstall then reinstall?? Try it see what happens. Maybe some files got switched around in the 001's hiatus.

You should make sure that all Digidesign/DAE extensions are enabled in the Extensions Manager, then restart and try again.

Thanks for the ideas. Still haven't figured this thing out. I have the protools installer disc but it is scratched. Is there any other way for me to either just put a newer version of PT on my tiger OS? If not how should I go about reinstalling pt ?

easiest solution:

Buy OSX 10.4 and reformat your computer
Buy a Mbox2 Mini which includes PT 7.3
Max out your computer with RAM

Hey I said it was the easiest, not the least expensive...
