Keyboard shortcut question...

I'm working at a rental HD10+MacPro (OS10.8.5) rig this week and the keyboard shortcuts that I'm used to from my computer are not functioning on this system.
When I press Command+= the Edit Window and The Mix Window views do not toggle as they do on my rig. Also, pressing "3" on my numeric keyboard does not start record as it does on my rig. What am I missing?
I have the keyboard focus button enabled and I am in classic keyboard mode on this rental rig. How do I configure it to respond to the keyboard shortcuts I'm familiar with from my system?

Perhaps a previous user of the Mac Pro has reprogrammed the keys:

1. System Preferences/Keyboard/Shortcuts/App Shortcuts

2. Is Keyboard Maestro installed? If so:
a. Open Keyboard Maestro in Applications.
b. Click All Macros in the Groups column.
c. Sort the Macros column by key (click the right triangle at the top of the column).
d. Have the = and 3 keys been reprogrammed?
e. If so, highlight the macro in the Macros column and then click the large tick at the top of the right column - it should change to a cross (disabled).

3. Look for other macro/key reprogramming programs such as QuicKeys.
