PT LE 501 locking up

Good evening,

I just added 128MB RAM to my Beige G3/266 for a total of 224MB. I run ProTools Toolbox LE 5.0.1 with DAE 5.1.1.
I am able to open up a PT session, but after 30 seconds or so of playing around (zooming in, moving the cursor, stop-play-stop,...) PT will lock up and force me to restart. I also tried to record and PT will stop recording after 30 sec or so.
Is it possible to run PT 501 with DAE 511?
Any suggestions would be welcome!
