++Serial Port++in need of expert advice
I can 't find any information on the serial port on the digi 001 box. I'm after controlling a BVW75 or similar Beta machine and was hoping to run serial 9 pin control through a PC. Is this possible through LE?
Thanks |

Re: ++Serial Port++in need of expert advice
It's for a second mouse. No just kidding. There's some posts in the past that digi has responded that the 9pin port presently offers nothing.

Re: ++Serial Port++in need of expert advice
JLcooper makes a box that is capable of translating mmc commands to 9-pin sony rs-422.
The serial interface on the digi001 "is for future use"....i.e it does nothing.

Re: ++Serial Port++in need of expert advice
on the beta testers forum we were told that the serial port was originally designed to be used to ADAT sync, however at the last minute they changed their mind and there are no plans for it at all in the future at this time.
