Default confused on the upgrade plan

I went to protools 12 and subscription ended a few days ago. I only run the regular pro tools. Do I now have to pay extra to get back on the plan? Is it worth it?

Well, depends. Did you buy a perpetual license and a years' support or upgrade plan? Or did you buy PT 12 itself for a year? If you have a perpetual license, PT will continue to work the way it always has, but you have no support.

Well you can get back on now until dec 31st for $299 and get two years support and annual plan. Well worth it IMO

I mean $299 for 24 months !! Can't beat that. As PT non HD wasn't cheap enough at $99/$199 a year, now you get double the time for $299

I've seen this offer too, and I agree it's a good one.
What is not so good is how Avid treat those of us who have paid full price for every version through the years. And HD is not cheap...
Why do not we have a free year?
