Audio Triggering MIDI Notes? How?
I know there must be a way to do this. I don't have Melodyne.
What I am hoping to do is take a kick drum track (isolated) and use those audio pulses to generate MIDI note-on messages. It does not matter what notes are turned on, as long as they are note-ons, they can all be the same thing. The same for the snare and Toms. Anybody know how to do this?

Here is what you need
http://www.masseyplugins.com/?page=dtm but I think it is only free to those who own one of his other plugs. The plugs are very good and reasonably priced. |
