Lost My Cds

Well i was working on a couple of sessions here, when my computer had some troubles. So i thought no problem it's been to long since i've formatted. So started wiping, and i went looking for my ProTools LE 5.3.1 Cd's and found that they'd gotten lost in a recent move i'd done. So i borrowed and friend of mines 5.1.1 Cd and thought i'd throw that on there just to get through these two sessions. However when i go to install, it just says that i need a version of windows higher than Me or 98 SE. Of course i have XP same as my friend, so i'm not sure why it won't install. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

If your registered with Digi you should be able to download 5.3.1 HERE

Your friend may have updated after that CD so it would work with XP

Thats the update for 5.1.1 to 5.3.1 isn't it? You need to able to install 5.1.1 first do you not? correct me if i'm wrong.

The Pro Tools LE 5.3.1 installer application does not require a previous installation of Pro Tools on your computer, allowing you to do a complete installation, or "clean install".

This allows Pro Tools LE 5.1/5.1.1 owners from Win 98/Me to do a clean install on a new OS, XP.
