... and now Soundtoys too! Can't help thinking that Pro Tools will introduce this as a new feature (that we may or may not get without a current support plan?) and make all these proprietary systems redundant!

What do you mean when you say Soundtoys too?

Are they releasing something new?

Many other upgrades on the list we would get long before this one.

Thanks again for the info

Its only words...

From gearslutz:
I think Monday is a bit ambitious since we did find a few very minor things we need to correct in one more beta build, but I'd say sometime next week is inevitable.

Cheers,
Steven

Man, WGAF? There's a thread over at GS describing the best and worst plugin companies, and this is why I count Slate Digital among the WORST. PLEASE GET MY AAX VCC and FGX on deck. That is all.

Hyperbole, right? If they were the worst, we wouldn't all be waiting with bated breath for their transition to AAX. Let's give credit where credit is due.

Separate issue. The rating is based the company's MO, NOT how much you like a plug in. And my breath is not bated. I've got (more than capable)substitutes for the Slate plugs I can't use. All due credit has been given, with my wallet...
