Default Trillian and PT9

Hi

I have just installed Trilian, then downloaded and installed the update and patches.

I run PT9 on Mac Pro (2 x 2.8GHz Quad-core Intel Xeon, 6 GB ram)) with OSX 10.6.6.

I can get Trilian to load as a Plug-in, but get no sound. It appears to load an instrument but no sound. I have tried the few suggestions at Trilian FAQs.

Also Trilian has reduced my available audio input paths in PT from 8 (I run 003 Rack) to 2. Is this common?

I installed everything onto my separate Samples drive, but installed the updates/patches on my system drive.

Anyone have problems with PT9 and Trilian, or PT8 for that matter?

cheers
Dave

Hmmm ... Weird ... I've been installing and running this plugin for quite a while without any glitch ... are you sure you're inserting the plugin on an AUX Track ?
Then Routing the midi tracks to the specific Trilian Channels ... ??
As for the input paths ... go to I/O and reset them to default you should go back to normal ...

I do have issues if Trillion is used after other samplers (Structure, Xpand, Kontakt).
Try Purge Cache in PT's system usage window then load. Also try Tril-Lite load.

Trillion just hangs on load...(Instrument Tracks. I'll try the Aux variation suggested above)
Omnisphere (Same engine) seems much better since 1.5 upgrade.

Either of theses work fine if they are first after a fresh re-launch of PT's

Also, Try inserting Trilian on a stereo Instrument track.

No luck either way; not as Instrument or Aux. Checked midi mapping.

No visual cue that midi is actually triggering any samples from looking at Trillian interface.

I installed the 5 x DVDs to my external HD (ie with all my samples), but the downloaded patch and software update was installed on the system drive. Trillian loads fine and looks as if it had loaded a bass, but no audio at all.

Have un-installed and will reload entire package.

Also, the I/O settings would not return to default (ie 003 4 x stereo inputs). It defaults to 1 x stereo pair... curious..??!!
