Maybe I'm confused - is this your normal workflow or just in certain situations?

I'm curious as well, because for whatever I do that has reverbs, "fixing" something in the middle never works the way I want it to. Need to bounce the whole song from beginning to end.

But is there a reason for the print track? If you do the bounce anyway, then the print track seems kind of useless. I use print track when I do a live gig and want to record everything I do while mixing, kind of like sending my FOH mix to CD recorder as well. Don't see a point of bouncing that stuff later as it is.

No reason other than when I save the session I have the print track there for reference in case , the next day I change something in the mix, I can easily refer back to the previous. As far clipping goes, there is no clipping anywhere at all. Not on single tracks or submix tracks or mix buss , or master fader. However the waveform in the print track is slammed. Like I said, I have never had this problem before. So I'm guessing there must be a setting or something that I'm not finding.

You do know about the zoom feature on the mix window, don't you?

well that's at the very least a personal preference of yours.

certainly, for many years, most of us mixed by recording sections to analogue tape and editing them together.
that would have the same "issues" (if you consider it an issue) as regards reverbs or phasing or chorusing etc.

Try pressing alt-a when you’re in the edit window. It sounds like your waveforms are zoomed in.
