PT 12 Mac crashing when making a new track/duplicating/reactivating a track.
This just started happening on both my PT11 and PT12. Every time I try to create a new track in a blank session, I get the pinwheel of doom then PT crashes without an error message.
The same thing happens if I try to duplicate a track in an already done session. or Make Inactive/Make Active a track. These have 0 plugins on them or part of the session. This has prettymuch made my protools useless at this point, causing my work to be put on pause. Any fixes? Tried trashing prefs and the rest of the normal troubleshooting methods. What kind of hardware are you using with PT 11/12?
Quit PT > use Disk Utility to repair disk permissions on the system drive > reboot the Mac > try PT again. Have you tried to manually uninstall Pro Tools, then install from a fresh download?
