Default Intel i7, any restrictions?

Hi,

I have a Mbox 2 pro, PT LE 7.1.3, and I'm thinking about changing my computer. First idea: get intel's new processor, i7. Considering the fact that there's no atualization in digi's page concerning compatibility, I would like to ask you guys if there are any restrictions for this?

I saw a very enthusiastic thread about it but couldn't understand much of it. . I'm just playing cautious here. Is there any don'ts for this setup?

some builds listed here probably mine and bblue's builds on this page are the most tested. we are gonna start working on cleaning up the first page soon.

some ram specs have to be payed attention to, and gigabyte ex58-ud3r and the asus p6t motherboards are the most used at this point. about the most 2 important "parts" issues. ask questions on the i7 thread for the best response if you have questions.
