PT 7.4.2 and OSX 10.5.3 Protools freezes and die

I installed 7.4.2 according to requirement (10.5.3 Combo)
But PTHD freezes right after launch, The cursor stay solid followed by the infinite circus wheel
Anyone has better luck with this wonderful product?

CLean uninstall and reinstall 7.4.2

if still freezing, pull 3rd party plug-ins. Lots of stuff isn't fully Leopard compatible. All of Native instruments stuff comes to mind. Waves must be updated 5.9.7, check Digi's plug-in compato for the rest. New user account. System specs would help us help you.

When you clean uninstall, do you have to reinstall each 3rd party plugs ?

I've installed 7.4.2 on a new february 2008 macpro. Coming from Protools 7.4.1 and everything seems fine so far. I've installed to test it on another drive and just installed over 7.4.1

I am going to uninstall ans re install 7.4.2 and update my plug ins according to the recommended version. if this does not work then I will re-install the OSx and re-install all my plugins which may take a week but c'est la vie
