EZDrummer will not record in PT 8?

I installed EZdrummer and it runs fine. I can insert a stereo instrument track,insert EZD as a plugin and I can play a EZD sequence and both hear it and see it on the VU meters on the stereo track....but when I go to record, NOTHING. What am I missin????!
