Well, a bit higher than I would have hoped, but better than no Exchange Program at all, right? Trying to remain upbeat.

OK Midnight, I am going to make a liberal guess that Digidesign will knock off $300.00 on the 001 > 002 hardware exchange, meaning that we will be able to walk paying $900.00 for the 002r.
I was 1st going to say $400.00, but I think I'm dreaming on that one.....anyone else?

Hi citi,

Not a bad prediction, eh ? I figured that if Digi would come in a little under 50% of street price ( new ), for the exchange , that it would work for them. I am going to take advantage of this program soon. Maybe I might wait a little while longer until the plug - in upgrades all level out.

Great guess, Bassbuddy.

So for me to stay with the PTLE program, purchasing a new single processor G5, upgrading to PT6 and OSX, and upgrading my plugins, with an 002r replacing my 001, would cost easily over 3 grand. Ouch..

Anyone know the UK £ Sterling exchange prices? I've looked on the UK Digidesign site and the exchange page shows US $ prices only?
