No midi input devices option???
Okay I'm trying to configure my midi setup. Checked the manual that came with my 002R and it says I should find "Midi Input Devices" under the MIDI drop down menu, but it's NOT listed there. Can someone help me out here?
Cheers.

Re: No midi input devices option???
Are you talking about the section on page 176 that says:

Re: No midi input devices option???
Hey there! I was reffering to the "Getting Started With Digi 002 Rack" Manual. On page 56 it's shown how to configue a MIDI track for recording and the first step is:
"Choose MIDI > Input Devices and make sure your input device is selected in the MIDI Input Enabled window, then click OK." The thing is, there is NO "Input Devices" in my MIDI drop down menu :-( Does anyone know what to do? Cheers!! :-D

Re: No midi input devices option???
It's a typo.
In 6.4 for windows, that feature was/is not available. You should check the ref guide (the manual) it really is more detailed (not to mention accurate) about the whole process. The PDF is available from the help menu within Pro Tools, and online here. (if it isn't available from the help menu, you need to download and install all of the 6.4 documentation) In 6.4 for windows, since you can't set up your devices like on a mac (or in 6.7 for windows), all you need to do is select the port that your device is connected to on the midi track. ~
