Default Vocalign

Hi,
Some time ago i bought a DV toolkit(1). There's a ilok license for Vocalign LE in that
package. Now i moved on to a tdm system on a Mac Pro and i'd like to be able to use
Vocalign.
The guys at Synchroarts tell me they don't do Ilok licensing.
So Digi, is there a Vocalign LE update for my Intel mac?

I am in the same situation now, and would like to transfer my license from my LE rig to my HD rig (Mac Pro too).

Any update on this?

Hi,

DVToolkit 2 & VocAlignLE 2.9.5 as UBs has been available for quite some time now (running fine here on a Mac Pro). Search the downloads section for DVToolkit 2....

Regards,

Marius

The Vocalign LE that comes with DV toolkit1 does not work on a HD MAc pro system. Tried just about
everything to get it working but it doesn't.

Dr. Marius: Tried putting the vocalign that came with DV TK2 (UB version)
in my plugs folder. Does show up in PT but crashes to finder when activated.

Talked to tech support several times about this issue, they told me they would look in to it.
That is three weeks ago... Seems that Digi really doesn't care.
I think it's completely rediculous that if i buy a lisence for use of Vocalign LE
you can throw it in the bin when upgrading to a larger system.
While other audiosuite LE products keep working when upgrading to HD.

You should be able to install VocALign Project LE & DINR LE for Intel-based Macs using the DV Toolkit 2 installer from this page:
Pro Tools LE & M-Powered v7.3 Optional Software Bundle Installers
http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...4&itemid=24229

After installing, remove the software (other than DINR LE and VoALignLEX) installed by DV Toolkit 2:
http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...4&itemid=19348
===
DV Toolkit 2

DV ToolKit 2 can be removed by deleting the OMF.bundle (Mac) or OMF.dll (Windows) AND the DVToolkit2.bundle (Mac) or DVToolkit2.dll (Windows) files from the Pro Tools folder. In addition to the DV Toolkit 2 and DigiTranslator files, DV Toolkit 2 also includes these 3 plug-ins:
- TL Space Native
- DINR LE (plug-in is named "Broadband Noise Reduction LE", iLok license is named "BNR LE")
- Synchro Arts VocALign Project LE (plug-in is named "VocALignLEX", iLok license is named "VocALign Project LE"
===
Make sure you remove the OMF and DVToolkit2 files from your Pro Tools application folder.
Then run your Pro Toos HD 7.2.1 or 7.3 installer again, and install the correct version of DigiTranslator.

Check to make sure you do not have the timecode.dll file from the DV Toolkit 1 installer in your Pro Tools folder, since that will not work with Intel-based Macs.

That file is the only one included with DV Toolkit 1 that is not compatible with Intel-based Macs, your existing licenses for DigiTranslator, DINR LE, and VocALign Project LE should all work with the correct versions of that software for your system.

I've also submitted a request for a standalone installer of VocALign Project LE for users in your situation.

Thanks! Should have searched a bit more before writing in..

However, after downloading the DVTK2 from the links above, the installer says that PT 7.3LE needs to be installed before i can install this package..(DVTK2). I'm attempting to install it in my MacPro PT HD2 rig (PT 7.3.1)

What I'm trying to do, is to transfer the VocAlign Project (LE?) and use it on my HD rig instead of the LE rig.

Is it possible (legal) to split up the assets this way?

Guess we'll have to wait for the standalone installer? Please let us know when it will be available.

Thanks!
Regards,
[Charles]

I stumble upon the same problem as Charles. The VocalignLE.dpm file i tried is
version 2.9.5x0. This is the one that craches PT upon activation in a HD2 setup.
Is the version for the the linked DV toolkit a different VocalignLE version?
