Quick question re: access
Is the scripting RPC endpoint available over the network, or only localhost? I'm interested in integrating PT transport control into a personal monitor mixer I'm developing, would this be a good candidate or should I use MMC?

Re: Quick question re: access
Hi Luke,
Sorry for the delayed reply here, the topic has slipped through the cracks. The Pro Tools Scripting SDK service currently requires a local client, the server is bound to localhost. Dmytro |

Re: Quick question re: access
Hi Luke,
You can use port forwarding on the Mac. It works. I briefly tried it. If it's a commercial product then I'd think MMC is a better option, or create an app on the client which will 'talk' to pro tools. Best, Geert
