Default com.digidesign.elevenrack.helper error message in console

I get the following message in my Console on my Macbook Pro 17 / OSX Lion, every 10 seconds, all the time, whether I'm running Pro Tools (10.0.1) or not. This has been going on since sometime after I first installed PT 9, under OSX 10.5.8:

1/3/12 11:34:28 AM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.digidesign.elevenrack.helper[19303]) posix_spawn("/Library/PreferencePanes/Digidesign Eleven Rack.prefPane/Contents/Resources/LaunchdDaemon", ...): No such file or directory
1/3/12 11:34:28 AM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.digidesign.elevenrack.helper[19303]) Exited with exit code: 1
1/3/12 11:34:28 AM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.digidesign.elevenrack.helper) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

OSX is apparently trying to start a helper for elevenrack and failing because I don't have one

I can't figure out where it is coming from, cannot find any reference to elevenrack.helper in any running processes or PreferencePanes (what are those, anyway?), and have never had an elevenrack attached to any system I've ever used! Any ideas on how to track it down and purge it from my setup? I am a pretty savvy OSX/Unix systems/shell user, so don't by shy about suggesting highly techie diagnosis/remediation ideas

I don't know whether this is a problem or slowing my system down, but its persistence is driving me crazy! I like to know what my computer is doing in the background, so I can fine-tune it for performance.

Thanks!

Never mind, I found the answer in someone else's thread. Now if I can just remember my root password, I'll be able to fix this by deleting the com.digidesign.elevenrack.helper.plist file.

Problem solved: ran sudo rm as admin user (me) and got rid of the offending StartupDaemons file! No more constant messages.
