Latency Using Reason Adapted as a Tone Module
When I use Reason's sounds,I get latency when using the midiport on my DIGI002MX.What I mean is,I hear audio latency when recording the sounds in low latency mode (or in input only for that matter)from the time that I trigger the sound from my midi keyboard until the time it plays AND I see that, when recorded, the MIDI data is out-of sync with the audio by more than a little.Softsynth gurus:is there a workaround/patch for this?I've also noticed latency when recording the midi data from my keyboard only.My objective is just to be able to track keys with a softsynth in realtime and edit the performance in audio, just like if I had the Motif Rack or even a JV1010.I see there are tons of softsynth users here:what am I doing wrong? Thanks guys.

Re: Latency Using Reason Adapted as a Tone Module
To what value do you have your H/W Buffer set?

Re: Latency Using Reason Adapted as a Tone Module
Well, it's not recommended to raise the DAE buffer; it should remain at it's default of 2.
And the H/W buffer of 1024 will definitely produce the latency you are reporting. Lower the H/W buffer size to 128 or 64 if you can.
