Default Frontier Alpha Track

Got me one for christmas....but can't get protools to recognize it. Installed and updated all drivers as per instructions, plugged in unit to finish installing drivers, set to 'protools hui' in taskbar, but it doesn't show up in setup>peripherals>midi control>receive from or send to.
The instructions mention that support for Mackie HUI control surface MUST be included in the protools installation, but I'm not sure where to check for this or where to get it and install it if it is missing.
Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks and Merry Christmas!!!!

Thanks for the reply, but I found the problem and it now works flawlessly...it's a great little controller.

Windows Audio HAS to be enabled for it to be recognized !!!

This might be because the midi is coming in via usb and windows needs to see it (through windows audio) to send it through to protools.

I'm lovin' mine!!! Try fader flip. Try Digi EQIII on plug insert slot C, as described in the AlphaTrack for Pro-Tools user guide docs.
