Copy/Paste Track Presets
Is there any way of doing this?
I love the new feature of being able to save and recall track presets. Just wondering if there's a copy/paste option without having to clutter up the folder with saves. |

In the meantime, you can create a "scratch folder" for this use that is easily cleaned out in the Workspace as needed. |

Thank you, great idea with the scratch folder and I'm glad that other people are suggesting it

Re: Copy/Paste Track Presets
Can anyone tell us where the Track Presets folder is on a PC?
Is there an easy way to back up all PT settings, track presets, and plugin presets? I'm sick and tired of creating them all from scratch every time I reinstall Pro Tools. |

Re: Copy/Paste Track Presets
I think I found an even easier way to backup all presets. In Windows, it seems all presets reside in the default My Documents folder! So I simply asked Windows to move that from the C: drive to my audio storage drive. Now they will never be lost if I have to reinstall windows!
