Default Copy/Paste Track Presets

Is there any way of doing this?

I love the new feature of being able to save and recall track presets. Just wondering if there's a copy/paste option without having to clutter up the folder with saves.

I submitted this as a suggestion during development. I hope to see it in the right click menu at some point in the future.

In the meantime, you can create a "scratch folder" for this use that is easily cleaned out in the Workspace as needed.

Thank you, great idea with the scratch folder and I'm glad that other people are suggesting it

Can anyone tell us where the Track Presets folder is on a PC?

Is there an easy way to back up all PT settings, track presets, and plugin presets? I'm sick and tired of creating them all from scratch every time I reinstall Pro Tools.

I think I found an even easier way to backup all presets. In Windows, it seems all presets reside in the default My Documents folder! So I simply asked Windows to move that from the C: drive to my audio storage drive. Now they will never be lost if I have to reinstall windows!
