I've been getting a hard crash every time I render more than one region of audio with Izotope Dialogue de-noise. This wasn't present in 12.6. Any other issues?

I installed 12.6.1 on an Mac HDX Mavericks system and everything went fine until I tried to install the 12.6.1 HD driver. My card was gone from the system and protools didn't start.
I had to uninstall and install the old 12.6.0 driver and everything went fine again.
I think the new HD driver only supports Yosemite 10.10 and up.
Somebody with the same issue??

Yes, as stated in release notes.

On MacOS El Capitan (10.11.6) with 12.6.1 I've lost the ability to enter Full Screen mode. Used to work (11.x-12.5.2) by clicking the green "stoplight" button in top left corner. Now it just does the old OSX "almost maximize" action. I've confirmed that all other applications are still entering fullscreen correctly, so it's not an OS issue.

This is a big bummer for anyone on a small screen...

Its amazing how many people are jumping to Studio One, musicians and music producers mostly, Avid forgot music people many years ago.

I think in the future, Studio One would be the standard for music production and Protools would continue as the leader in post and Mixing.

Maybe I'm wrong, lets see what happens.

I tried Studio One with all hopes of it being a Pro Tools killer. I wanted it so bad. Because of the exact reasons stated above. Problem is, as Studio One is almost identical and even better in several ways, the absolute most important to me (zoom in all the way and editing and nudging to a logical laid out sample level nudging process) is severally lacking in Studio One. I tried for months... their timeline sucks. Their zoom sucks. Nudging on a sample level and knowing where you are sucks, their math completely sucks. Pro Tools just got the best logical math timeline.

Thanks. But I think Is still confusing because it is not stated that you shouldn't install the HD Driver. I remember reading it was meant for users of 10.10 and on but not that you shouldn't install it otherwise.

Mhh

So what about Mac Yosemite 10.10.5 users ? Will PT 12.6.1 run flawless on that ?

I currently am running PT 12.4 on Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite) with zero problems and zero errors and do not want to introduce issues. Yet updating would be nice before I get left back too far.
