Mbox 2 Mini distortion in PT 11

Have had PT 11 for about a month now and it has been working fine.

I turned it on yesterday and when I use my Mbox 2 mini, all i hear is distortion through the headphones. This occurs for playback and recording. I have tried changing the sample rate, reinstalling the mbox 2 mini drivers (latest v10.3.3) and even changing cables. I'm not sure where to look next about fixing this.

Am running macbook pro OSX 10.9 with 4GB ram, Pro Tools 11 as stated. Running glyph firewire hard drive 500GB.

I don't believe the MBox 2 has had OSX 10.9 drivers released for it yet http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...2-Mini-Drivers . When did you upgrade to 10.9, was it at the same time the distortion started?

Damn - that might be it, but I upgraded to 10.9 awhile back now and I this problem only occurred recently

I'll try find out how to revert to 10.8 see if that fixes it

Looks like its not so easy to revert to 10.8

Damn...... AVID please release an update for mbox 2 and mavericks!!!!!

I haven't received a response yet, but going by the End of Support page, these should be supported through 2015:

Mbox 2 Micro 9/14/2015
Mbox 2 Mini 9/14/2015
Mbox 2 Pro 3/31/2016
