Fast Track Ultra 8r Buffer Settings
Hi All,
I'm looking at my Fast Track Ultra 8r control panel (package 2.3.3 firmware 1.5.1), and under Setup > Hardware Settings, I don't see any options for buffer settings. I can adjust the clock source (which is set to internal) and the sample rate, but these are my only options. I downloaded the latest manual, and the screenshot of the settings tab includes buffer size, ASIO monitoring, and high performance mode. These options don't exist in my settings. Any ideas? (FYI: I'm trying to make sure my Fast Track config matches my Pro Tools config. I'm consistently getting pop/clicks even at high buffer settings, which I currently set with Pro Tools. )

Re: Fast Track Ultra 8r Buffer Settings
When you open the Fast Track control panel (should be down by your clock), there should be a "Settings" tab like below. You should be able to set your buffer there.
(This might be from an older driver though) Joel

Re: Fast Track Ultra 8r Buffer Settings
I believe your image is indeed from an older driver. The Avid website provides 2.3.3, which gives me this.

Re: Fast Track Ultra 8r Buffer Settings
let me just add.
the new driver for the fast track ultra 8r one that has the control panel looking like this doesnt have the Asio direct monitoring option and the high performance. it also doesnt allow feedback control on reverb effects making the reverb effect sound watery no mater what i do to it. sounds **** compared to the older driver.
