Calibrating Faders?
The physical fader position on my PC is slightly at variance with the on screen fader position. For example: An on screen channel reads 0.0dB and the on screen fader is precisely positioned at 0dB. However the PC fader is actually positioned slightly above 0dB, between 0 and +3dB. This is true for all faders on all channels of both my main unit and the fader pack.
I can live with this, it's only a slight annoyance but I would prefer if there were something I could do to more precicely match the position of the PC fader with the on screen fader. Is there any way to do this? BTW, I'm using PT5. Thanks, Greg |

Re: Calibrating Faders?
Is everyone ignoring me or is mine an isolated case or is it just that no one has an answer?

Re: Calibrating Faders?
Hey Greg,
Not ignoring you! Did you try the recal function? UTILITY>TEST>FADER>RECAL will reset the faders to factory defaults. We test them and align them here to very strict tolerances. If they are out by as much as you say and a recalibration doesn't fix it, I'd give CS a call and see if your unit needs to be looked at. Hope this helps. Gannon Kashiwa ProControl Team |

Re: Calibrating Faders?
Thanks George,
I've done a recal. Perhaps I'll get on the blower. Greg |
