Buffer size stuck ?
I was using PT and had to bounce down a project so I put it on 1024. I haven't don't anything for a few weeks , started a new session and it is stuck there I cannot make it lower for recording? Just kind of grey out? Is it me or is PT 11 not really ready for prime time. I seem to be having little issues with third party plug ins etc. I just want this to work, I seem to have to constantly trouble shhot

Re: Buffer size stuck ?
For your 'stuck' buffer size, try disabling all sound devices in Windows.

Re: Buffer size stuck ?
What are you using for an audio interface? If I'm understanding correctly, you're using that same audio device for Pro Tools and Windows sounds? If so, I would not recommend that. Any time Windows (media player, you tube etc.) plays a sound it will mess with the sample rate and cause issues with Pro Tools. ASIO devices are not designed to be shared between multiple programs at the same time.
