protools cd burning question
so I have every track bounced to how I want it and I import all my tracks into a new protools session and combine all the bounced songs so they blend togethor. how can I burn it to a cd and have it split each song into separate tracks on the cd while still making it flow into each other without a gap? I heard about using markers but I dont know anything about that sort of thing or if you can burn to a cd in protools. any help?

Re: protools cd burning question
I use iTunes for CD burning. You can set the time gap between tracks.
Launch iTunes Create a new playlist and add your individual tracks in the order you want them played. open EDIT->Preferences open the ADVANCED tab in the Advanced tab there are 3 new tabs: General / Importing / Burning. Click on Burning Select Audio CD, and you'll see "Gap Between Songs". Set that to 0 seconds. I leave all other options OFF. OK your way out of the preferences, then burn the CD. Just remember these preferences stick. So if you later use itunes to burn, and you want a gap between songs, go back and set the gap to 2 or 3 seconds.

Re: protools cd burning question
most of the burning programs i have used with no gap or set to "0" still have a small almost click it is so small between songs. i have been using sony cd architect for this stuff for quite a while. can import all the songs into a session and drag the songs where you want them, even crossfade between 2 songs and set track number locates where you want.

Re: protools cd burning question
CD Architect and WaveLab are likely the best programs for burning audio CD's. I use WaveLab abd it allows you to bring in a continuous audio file(like a live show) and place CD track markers where ever you want.

Nero and ROXIO will both allow that too.
