Default Compare Pro Tools HDX and Audition CS6

Hi All

I mix for tv promo at post production sound office with Pro Tools HD and Pro Tools HD 8 software
My boss want to change from Pro Tools HD to Audition CS6 due to budget. We bought Creative cloud license from Adobe, that's why my boss want to use adobe audition audio softaware
Anyone use Audition CS6 softaware?
Is it can ability to afford heavy tasks likes surround mixing?
I don't know how to turn down my boss ideal, as i'm not sure the ability of audition!
Can give me any reference data to convince my boss keep to upgrade Pro Tools?

Thanks
