Midi stopped working after Osx 10.8.3 update

Hey all, Im running Pro Tools LE 8.0.5 on a 003+, on a 2.4GHz Mac, Intel Core 2 Duo with 4Gs Ram... I just upgraded to Lion OS X 10.8.3 and my Midi controller keyboard has stopped working ...
The 003 hardware is receiving signal from the controller (the midi light flashes when u hit a key) but I cant get any reaction from the software...
Any ideas that dont involve paying for the upgrade to PT 10 would be most welcome !

PT8 is not supported on that version of OSX (Mountain Lion). That in itself is likely the problem.

If PT is working apart from the Midi keyboard issue, you could check with the manufacturer for updated drivers.

Also, which MIDI keyboard is it, and have you tried resetting it to factory default settings?

Downgrade back to the latest version that worked !

Besides downgrading back to your previous OSX version (you don't say what that was) you could grab Reaper as a trial and see if your setup is still working. That at least would give you an idea if your hardware is okay or you have to dig elsewheres.
