IO Setup - More Audio Ins than Audio Outs
Hello,
I'm having an issue with the IO menu in PT 10. I've created an aggregate device than contains two audio interfaces. If you take a look at the attached 'Audio Midi Setup' file, you'll see that the first interface has more ins than outs. This is throwing the numbering sequence out in the PT IO setup menu. For example, AI 1 of the Titan is on channel 5, but AO 1 is on channel 9. This is causing problems when I'm using 'Inserts' in Pro Tools and sending the signal to get mixed using outboard gear, because in PT you need to come back in on the same channel that you went out of - and AI 1 and AO 1 of the Titan are both going in and out of different channels in PT. Does anymore know of a way the get 'Ins', 'Outs' and 'Inserts' all aligned in the PT set up menu - when combining audio interfaces that have different numbers of Ins to Outs? Hope I've explained that OK |
